Tom wood started Kart racing at the in 2008 and has proven his worth through the years moving into junior car racing and then into GT4 racing with Aston Martin.

In 2022 Tom signed his first professional contract with Derby University Motorsport driving the Radical SR1 car for the team

2023 sees Tom racing with the FK Motorsport Team based in Bremen, Germany in a BMW M4 GT4 in Oschersleben, Zandvoort, Sachsenring, Nurburgring and Hochenheim as well as the Hagarty Radical Cup UK with rounds Donington, Oulton Park, Brands Hatch and Silverstone.
